Salesperson Experience Updates

Sales people now have a streamlined Active Deals page, improved access to CRM customer information, and the ability to select vehicles for a customer. It is designed to make it easier to move from a credit application to building a deal.

What’s changing?

The updated Salesperson experience includes:

  • A simplified Active Deals page: The Active Deals page now focuses on the information most relevant to salespeople, making it easier to find customers and manage active opportunities.

  • Easier CRM search: Salespeople can search for customers and credit applications from your dealership’s CRM directly from the Active Deals page.

  • CRM access from the New Credit Application menu: The New credit application menu now includes an Import CRM lead option, giving salespeople another quick way to locate an existing customer.

  • Vehicle selection: Salespeople can select the vehicle (or vehicles) that a customer is interested in directly within Upstart Portal.

Searching for a customer in your CRM

From the Active Deals page, select Search CRM to locate an existing customer.

You can search using available customer information, such as their name, email address, or phone number. Matching customers from your CRM will appear in the search results. From the results, you can open an existing application or continue the credit application process for the customer.

Reviewing the credit application

Once you open the customer, you can review the credit application information available in the Upstart Portal. This gives the salesperson access to the information needed to continue working with the customer without requiring them to start a separate application when one already exists.

Selecting a vehicle

From the customer's deal, navigate to Inventory to find and select the vehicle the customer is interested in. You can search your dealership's inventory by stock number or VIN and use the available filters to narrow your results. Salespeople can select up to five vehicles for a customer before continuing with the deal.

What does this mean for your dealership?

These updates are designed to make Upstart Auto Finance fit more naturally into your credit application processes. Your salespeople can more easily find existing customers, access their application, associate vehicles with the customer, and continue the deal in UAF. The goal is to reduce duplicate work through this update that creates a more streamlined workflow.
